Payment Terms & Order Process
A clear overview of how CNC machining projects move from RFQ to shipment, including payment terms, sample orders, production orders, and delivery coordination.
How Orders Usually Work
Send your drawing, 3D file, quantity, material, surface finish requirement, tolerance notes, and delivery target if known. If your project is still early-stage, rough sketches and reference photos can also help us start the discussion.
We review manufacturability, process route, material choice, tolerance practicality, finishing needs, and delivery timing. Then we provide quotation feedback with lead time and key production notes.
After pricing, lead time, and technical details are confirmed, we issue a proforma invoice or order confirmation for the agreed project scope.
For most first orders, production starts after deposit or prepayment is received, depending on the order type. Repeat projects may follow adjusted payment arrangements after mutual trust is established.
After machining and required finishing are completed, we perform inspection based on agreed requirements. Shipment is arranged after final confirmation and balance settlement according to the agreed payment terms.
Typical Payment Terms
- Sample / prototype orders: usually full payment in advance or deposit before production.
- Production orders: commonly deposit before production, balance before shipment.
- Main method: T/T bank transfer.
- Other payment arrangements can be discussed for small-value or long-term repeat business when suitable.
What Helps Us Quote Faster
- 2D drawing or 3D file
- Material grade
- Quantity per batch
- Surface finish requirements
- Critical tolerances
- Target delivery timing
Need a Fast RFQ Review?
Send your drawing and quantity details. We can review feasibility, pricing direction, and lead time before production starts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you require 100% payment before production?
Not always. Payment terms depend on order type, value, project stage, and cooperation history. Prototype and first orders often require prepayment or deposit first.
Can you quote before final drawings are complete?
Yes. We can provide an early-stage estimate from concept files, reference dimensions, or partial technical information, but final pricing may change after full review.
Do you support NDA before project review?
Yes. We can sign an NDA before detailed drawing review for confidential projects.
Can shipping be arranged by your side?
Yes. We can coordinate practical shipping arrangements based on destination, shipment size, and customer preference.
